Jodie L. Poller, DVM, MS, Owner
Dr. Jodie L. Poller graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 after completing her clinical training at the University of Missouri Veterinary School. After growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Poller completed her undergraduate studies at Smith College and a Masters in Biology at Tufts University. She has worked as a veterinarian in New York City since 2009. During that time, she has practiced as both a companion animal doctor as well as a shelter veterinarian at Bideawee Animal Hospital. Dr. Poller has interests in whole-animal health and strengthening the bond between owner and pet. She is fortunate to share her life with two fantastic German Shepherd’s, Nemo and Nellie. In her free time, you can find her running, going to spin class or Barry’s bootcamp, swimming, traveling, and reading.
Miranda J. Hillyard, DVM, MPH
Dr. Miranda J. Hillyard graduated from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She grew up near Boston, MA, and completed her undergraduate studies at Middlebury College in Vermont. Before starting veterinary school, she worked as a zookeeper and as a veterinary technician. Dr. Hillyard completed a small animal rotating internship at the ASPCA Animal Hospital, and then went on to work as an emergency veterinarian at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC, and at Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY. She now lives in Manhattan with her fiancé and their mixed breed dog, Miley. Dr. Hillyard is an avid home-chef and baker and she loves to travel and spend time outdoors whenever possible.
